Eamonn Gill MA, PhD

Eamonn is a registered and practising psychologist.   In addition to his regular practice of organizational consults, psychological assessments, and psychotherapy, he has extensive experience in the field of crises and communication.  This includes in the field of national security, counter-terrorism, kidnapping, and transnational organized crime,   He is highly respected and consulted by law enforcement agencies at the federal, provincial, and municipal level with a focus on the analysis of communication and strategies supporting threat mitigation.

Eamonn received his Master's degree and a PhD, both in psychology. His doctoral research focused on the analysis of statements within dyadic interactions to examine meta-messages and their influence on the relationship.  This unique and specialized area of communication expertise provides InterVentis Global with a cutting-edge advantage in negotiation and communication with threat actors for our clients.   Eamonn is an associate of the Clinical Psychology Centre, Simon Fraser University. He has taught graduate courses at University of Calgary, Athabasca University, University of Northern British Columbia, and City University. He has provided training to a broad range of professionals developing nuanced communication skills and strategies.
